While some of us may be able to read a report or sit in on a presentation, most people absorb information better through active engagement in what they are learning.

Lieberman Learning Labs® facilitate key stakeholders in the active engagement and better understanding of research findings through a multi-sensorial, exercise-driven process. This level of deeper involvement and participation promotes a sense of ownership among stakeholders and ensures the research findings will be socialized throughout the organization with multiple champions behind them - and not wind up sitting on a shelf unused.

Using both Self-Discovery and Multiple Intelligences Theories, participants are able to “discover” and extract key research implications in the way they learn best.

By employing Howard Gardner's Seven Intelligences Theory, we can take a room of people with varying levels, skillsets and roles and provide each an opportunity to learn and contribute according to their strengths in the areas of:

  • Number/reasoning Smart: Generate recipes and diagrams
  • Music Smart: Write jingles/songs, make play lists
  • Body Smart: Act out stories via mime, charades or role-playing
  • Self Smart: Writes journals and essays
  • People Smart: "Conduct" a press conference or interview
  • Picture Smart: Draw, make collages/mobiles/scrapbooks
  • Word Smart: Write an ad or letter to the editor
